Conduct evaluations for individuals across pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups through standardized assessments and observations. Create tailored treatment strategies that target both short-term objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing aspirations. Implement personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on language, voice, fluency, and swallowing aspects. Work collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and family members to develop integrated care plans. Educate patients and their families to ensure support and progress beyond therapy sessions. Assist with inpatient-related speech therapy assessments and interventions to guarantee seamless patient care throughout their journey. Maintain precise and prompt documentation as per state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in professional development through ongoing education and collaboration with peers to stay abreast of field advancements. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills
