Performing thorough patient evaluations, prescribing diagnostic tests, and creating tailor-made care plans Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, working collaboratively with physicians or autonomously based on qualifications Providing education to patients and families on wellness, prevention, and lifestyle management Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in line with your professional scope Engaging in follow-up care and chronic illness management Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care Documenting all patient interactions meticulously in electronic medical records (EMR) Essential Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Licensing and Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialization Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days) What Makes You Stand Out
