Supporting surgical procedures by setting up and maintaining the operating room Upholding sterile techniques and infection control standards Assisting surgeons and surgical assistants with the necessary instruments and supplies Managing all surgical equipment efficiently throughout the procedure Keeping a close eye on inventory to guarantee readiness for each surgical event Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for optimal patient care Documenting surgical counts accurately and maintaining diligent records Education Requirements:
Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program High school diploma or equivalent is required Certifications Needed:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is mandatory BLS certification (or capability to obtain within 90 days of hire) Key Skills and Attributes:
