Weekend call is required from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with two weekends necessary in a six-week schedule. The on-call coverage is primarily for weekend needs and is not typically busy. Job Description: The Registered Nurse will be part of a small team of 6 staff (3 RNs and 3 surgical scrubs) covering two orthopedic operating rooms, five days a week. It is essential for team members on the 7:30 AM shift to stay until all elective cases (approximately until 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM) and any add-ons are completed. While there is no call during the week, flexibility in working past the scheduled shift may be required occasionally. Responsibilities:
Provide quality nursing care in the operating room setting. Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures. Monitor patients during surgery and respond to any changes in condition. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient case completion.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Current RN license. Previous operating room experience preferred.
