Completes computed tomography (CT) procedures following departmental protocols Confidently explains CT procedures to patients Accurately and consistently completes required CT paperwork Assists the Front Office staff in insuring orders for CT procedures are appropriate Maintains current standards of practice through review of current literature, including information on best practice Completes IV starts and IV management following hospital protocol for contrast material administration Administers appropriate contrast material required to complete CT procedures Confidently explains possible IV problems and possible contrast material reactions to patients Completes assigned CT duties efficiently and effectively Requirements Licenses and Education:
State of Maine Radiologic Technology License American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification CPR Certification Availability:
