Performing detailed patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized healthcare plans Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic conditions with collaboration from physicians or independently, as credentialed Educating patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and disease management Prescribing suitable medications and therapies within your scope of practice Engaging in patient follow-up and ongoing chronic care management Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide cohesive, patient-centered care Ensuring precise and comprehensive documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Education Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program Mandatory Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain them within 90 days) Exceptional Skills Include
