Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to support patient progress. Document therapy sessions and patient progress accurately and timely. Educate patients and families about strategies and techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
Valid state license or certification to practice as a Speech Therapist. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field. Proven experience in speech therapy within a home care or clinical setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
