Job Description As a Manager on the Talent Data Analytics & Insights team, you will leverage your analytical expertise to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance the effectiveness of Enterprise Talent programs. Your work will span talent analytics, process automation, and visualization—providing insights that help shape how we attract, develop, and retain top talent.
This role requires critical thinking, curiosity, initiative, and confidence in applying analytical techniques to real-world challenges in the Talent space. You will collaborate closely with Talent, HR, and business leaders to understand their needs and deliver impactful analytics.

This team plays a pivotal role in providing leaders with visibility into candidate and associate data, enabling insight-driven decision-making and creating exceptional talent experiences.
Your analytical, technical, and communication skills will support our team and the business in making data-driven talent decisions. The work you do will allow the analysts to communicate trends, patterns, and predictive information found within talent-related data using various analytical and statistical tools and techniques. Our goal is to strengthen our analytical capability, efficiency, and generate operational insights in the organization. By using your full range of skills, you will have a direct impact on streamlining processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness and elevate the experiences of both candidates and associates within Fidelity.
Perform exploratory and forensic data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies while developing subject-matter expertise across our various Talent data sets
Synthesize data findings and be able to communicate findings through clear storytelling and presentations that influence decision-making
Create and enhance interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau and Power BI to provide real-time insights
Develop and optimize Alteryx workflows to deliver scalable talent analytics and workforce insights and automate processes
Build and maintain data pipelines using SQL (Snowflake, SQL Server); familiarity with Python and/or R is a plus
Build strong relationships with team members and key business partners to establish trust and maintain solid working relationships
Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent and Business leaders to gather requirements, translate business needs into analytics solutions, and deliver insights that influence strategic decisions
Contribute to the timely turnaround and completion of prioritized ad-hoc data requests and work backlog from our business partners
Support data governance practices, including documentation and implementation of best practice data standards including process flows, data quality and data definitions
Work across teams to understand business requirements and measurement outcomes and develop quality documentation to inform analytics approach
Proactively seek opportunities to provide valuable insights and receive continuous improvement feedback from our business partners
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Education & Experience: bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields
Stakeholder Collaboration: Demonstrates strong consultative and communication skills to engage stakeholders, foster collaboration, and build trusted relationships across diverse teams
Analytical Storytelling: Translates complex data into clear, actionable insights by understanding stakeholder needs and regularly communicating ideas that support strategic decision-making and long-term partnership
Alteryx Skills: Ability to design and optimize workflows for automation and analytics
Data Visualization: Proficient in creating dashboards and visual stories using Tableau and/or Power BI
Database Knowledge: Understanding of relational database concepts and hands-on experience with platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, and SQL Server
SQL Proficiency: Proficient knowledge of SQL for building and tuning queries and troubleshooting across Snowflake and legacy SQL Server environments
Technical Versatility: Familiarity with Python and/or R is a plus with a willingness to learn
Data Governance: Understanding of data quality, standards, and stewardship principles.
