Job Description
This Applications Engineer will be:
Supporting customers with CNC troubleshooting and process development Traveling to customer sites to assess machines and applications Programming and setting up Swiss CNC machines Conducting machine evaluations and part processing recommendations Creating time studies and supporting firstarticle runoffs Providing customer training and technical support Collaborating with internal sales and engineering teams MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
A successful Applications Engineer candidate will have:
Experience with CNC machining; Swiss CNC preferred Background in machining, manufacturing, or applications engineering Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong communication and customerfacing skills Willingness to travel locally and occasionally domestically Initiativedriven and eager to learn in a developing training environment What's on Offer
