Inpatient Pharmacist Employer: Rx relief Location: Near Madison Heights, VA Position Type: Temporary Compensation: $70+ per hour (Depending on Experience) The Opportunity Want to be part of something groundbreaking from Day 1? Rx relief is seeking a dynamic, adaptable Inpatient Pharmacist for an exciting temporary assignment in Lynchburg, VA. You will be walking into a brand-new, state-of-the-art hospital facility that is gearing up to welcome its very first patient. If you love the idea of building workflows from scratch, working with the latest healthcare technology, and setting a brand-new team up for success, this is the perfect project for you. What You'll Do (Job Responsibilities) Your main mission is to help get this pharmacy fully operational and ready for launch day.
Lead the Prep: Oversee and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to stock, organize, and validate automated dispensing cabinets. System Setup: Help establish workflows and ensure the pharmacy is 100% prepared for patient care. Clinical Oversight: Provide clinical expertise and ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance as the facility transitions to live operations.
Schedule & Hours
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Flexibility: Must be open to the possibility of on-call hours as the hospital opens and operational needs evolve.
Who We Are Looking For (Requirements) We are looking for someone who is organized, enthusiastic about building a department, and comfortable navigating modern pharmacy tech.
Experience: Recent inpatient hospital experience is ideal, but it is not a dealbreaker. New Grads Welcome: Just graduated? This is an incredible resume-builder to see how a hospital pharmacy is built from the ground up. Tech-Savvy: You should have a natural affinity for new technology and automated systems. Licensure: Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Virginia.
