RN - Telemetry Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS Required (NIH preferred) General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Telemetry unit with diagnoses including CHF, MI/Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), Dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), Hypo-/Hypertension, Pleural effusion, Sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues Ratio / Census: 1:4-5; 36 Rooms with average daily census of 35 Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBARS Scrub Color: Navy Blue RTO: MAX 7 days RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th) Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below:

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
