Role Overview As a Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate, you will assist with customer orders, information requests, and inventory status. You will also review orders to ensure accuracy and communicate any deviation to the customer in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, you will assemble product for receiving, storing, shipping, and control of materials in inventory or for sale. Primary Duties Assist and resolve customer requests and/or problems promptly and professionally. Sell products and services, offer add‑on and up‑sell products, and suggest alternatives when a requested product is unavailable. Maintain merchandise and literature displays. Continuously develop knowledge of Crescent product inventory, facility location, and sales techniques. Keep up to date on market trends, new products, and their applications. Back up and support inside sales representatives and warehouse personnel as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Previous wholesale electrical distribution product knowledge and sales experience preferred. Pay Hourly rate: $18.00 – $21.00, inclusive of base pay plus sales commission opportunity. Physical Demands Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping. Occasional sitting, talking, and hearing. Use of hands/fingers is frequent. Continuous lifting and carrying 1‑20 lbs. Frequent lifting and carrying 21‑50 lbs. Occasional lifting and carrying 51‑100 lbs. Buddy lift or mechanical assistance advised for heavier loads. Vision Requirements Close vision: clear at 20 inches or less; distance vision: clear at 20 feet or more; peripheral vision: ability to observe area while eyes fixed; depth perception: ability to judge distances.
