As an Assistant Retail Store Manager, your role is to assist and support the Retail Store Manager in coaching and leading your team members to provide the best customer experience and technology solutions from a variety of AT&T products and services offered by My Wireless. Each day you will be expected to: Meet and exceed personal performance goals and AT&T standards of performance Execute and exceed on all sales and operation initiatives in a timely manner Assist the Retail Store Manager in maintaining location operations, staffing, inventory, and appearance Assist the Retail Store Manager in the development, training, and management of team members Help customers make buying decisions by delivering outstanding customer service Train and develop your skills to become a top My Wireless Retail Store Manager when opportunities arise Maintain a fun, clean and exciting work environment for customers and team members Work as a team member so you can together exceed personal and team goals Participate in marketing activities designed to maximize selling opportunities each day Qualifications Management experience in a similar field (Required), preferably in the Wireless Industry Experience in retail or customer‑facing sales environment (Required) Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays (Required) Demonstrated ability to meet performance and operation standards (Required) Ability to motivate, lead, and coach to results (Required) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (Required) Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills (Required) Bilingual (Preferred but may not be required depending on location) Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) Retail or customer‑facing sales experience in the telecommunications industry (Preferred) Experience prospecting through outbound calls (Preferred) Must be at minimum 18 years of age, legally able to be employed in the US and have a High School diploma or equivalent (Required) Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee with or without reasonable accommodation to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, most of the time is spent standing, walking around, moving for prolonged periods, and occasionally lifting and moving objects of up to 10 pounds. Other movements may include climbing ladders, balancing on ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and fine handling of display materials and merchandise. Dexterity is required. Specific vision abilities required include working with small parts in mobile phones and looking at a computer screen for prolonged periods. These requirements can be met by the individual's use of eyeglasses or contacts.
