What you’ll do :Design, build, and operate backend services powering revenue, billing, and payment processing systems and partner integration sTranslate product requirements into scalable backend designs and high-quality implementation sBuild and evolve large-scale APIs handling: Tens of thousands of requests per second, Millions of active users, Distributed systems running across thousands of server sWrite production Kotlin/Go services running on GCP (compute, storage, networking, observability )Optimize performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve system reliability and cost efficienc yContribute to architectural discussions and propose pragmatic, forward-looking technical solution sParticipate in an agile team environment (planning, standups, reviews
) About yo u:Strong backend engineering experience in production syste msExcellent knowledge of Kotlin or Go, including its strengths, trade-offs, and common pitfal lsHands-on experience building and operating services on Google Cloud Platfo rmSolid understanding of distributed systems concepts: caching, sharding, replication, reliability, and failure mod esExperience designing and optimizing data access patterns using MySQL or other relational databas esComfortable working in a Unix/Linux environme ntProven ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate technical trade-offs clear lyA growth mindset - you actively level up your technical and architectural skil
