Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Supervisor leads the In-House Sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance. This role oversees the handling of sales and service requests, assists with customer inquiries, and supports the development and maintenance of customer accounts. The supervisor serves as a key resource for both internal and external customers, maintains comprehensive knowledge of Bernick's products and services, and ensures efficient processing and dispatching of service requests for all Bernick's customers.
Responsibilities: Ensures team members proactively communicate new products, services, and promotional opportunities to customers to drive engagement and sales growth Lead efforts to achieve assigned sales objectives and contribute to the success of Bernick's through strong team performance and customer relationship management Manage departmental budgets and staffing levels to ensure efficient operations, achievement of business objectives, and delivery of exceptional customer service Effectively manage team and support staff performance through coaching, mentoring, recognition, accountability, and corrective action when necessary Ensure customer records are maintained accurately and up to date, including tracking customer interactions, service requests, and necessary follow-up actions Ensure customer issues are handled professionally and efficiently, utilizing appropriate decision-making to achieve positive outcomes Coordinate with Sales Managers and other departments to support customer relationships, resolve issues, and drive account growth Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience required. Minimum of 3 years of sales, customer service, or account management experience required. Previous experience in the food and beverage, distribution, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or related industry preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop team members while driving customer satisfaction and business results. Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Travel may be required as part of this role to support various Bernick's locations, events, or business needs. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted as part of the hiring process and evaluated in relation to the requirements of the role.
