Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented
QA Inspector
to support quality assurance activities across inbound and outbound goods, production testing, and material handling operations. This role will split time evenly between QA inspections and SAP-driven material and production support, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
The QA Inspector plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, supporting production needs, and safeguarding business and quality records.
Essential Functions • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment in compliance with company policies and procedures • Comply with all Quality, Product Safety, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) rules, guidelines, and regulations • Demonstrate energy-conscious behavior where applicable • Understand and comply with applicable industry standards, including but not limited to: • ISO 9001 • ISO 22163 • ISO 14001 • ISO 45001 • ISO 50001 • AAR and CMMI • Maintain and safeguard quality, inspection, and business records
Key Responsibilities • Perform inbound goods and product QA inspections • Conduct outbound goods inspection and support shipping processes • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and ATP test inspections • Utilize SAP to create and process repair reports and complete MIGO goods receipt/issues • Support inbound and outbound material handling • Manage and track inventory • Process material requests to meet production needs • Perform basic mechanical repairs and functional testing • Log, enter, and track case activity and maintain accurate records
Required CompetenciesTechnical Competencies • Technical aptitude in quality inspection and production support • Strong communication skills • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities • Ability to safely operate a forklift
Core Competencies • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Thorough understanding of inspection and measurement techniques and tools • Strong proficiency in the English language (written and verbal) • Ability to read and follow complex instructions • Self-motivated and able to work independently • Computer literacy, including Microsoft applications • Prior QA or inspection experience
Education & Experience
Education: • High School Diploma or GED required
Experience: • 1-2 years of relevant Quality Assurance or inspection experience
