Job Description
Pay Range: $31.23 - $39.03 / hour; based on experience
Our Maintenance Technicians are crucial at Chuze Fitness. They ensure the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of equipment and facilities, directly impacting member experience and operational success. You'll handle preventive maintenance, perform repairs on fitness equipment, and collaborate with your facilities team and across departments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Proactively seek opportunities for development by completing all training materials and implementing feedback from leadership coachingEstablish and maintain cross-departmental communication to remain up-to-date on repair and replacement needs in customer-facing spaces and facility infrastructureWork within a CMMS to run reports, monitor and complete work orders, and receive service requests for in-house duties and outsourced contractor servicesPerform preventive maintenance and identify service needs, ensuring work is performed promptly and prioritizing the most critical repairs to minimize member experience disruptions when possibleMaintain knowledge of commercial HVAC, Electrical, Lighting and Plumbing systemsTravel within the market to participate in group training sessions, routine department meetings, and provide support to clubs beyond the home club, as neededComplete administrative tasks promptly, including email management and communication and assist in maintaining inventory counts as neededUtilize Building Management System (BMS)/Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) control systems to review property operations and identify the needs of the facilityOversee the outsourcing process of more complex projects by reviewing pricing and approving work completed by contractors

Essential Physical Requirements:
Able to read, write, and speak clearly in EnglishAbility to remain in standing, stationary, or moving for prolonged periodsRegularly exposed to moving mechanical partsAbility to lift/move a minimum of 50lbsRegularly exposed to pool chemicals, cleaning supplies, and grease/oil Use of a ladder and roof accessAbility to work in a loud environment
