Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to provide personalized evaluations, assessments, prognoses, treatments, and education tailored to each patient's unique needs. This role involves delivering care across a variety of settings including inpatient acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient services within a regional healthcare network in the Pacific Northwest. The ideal candidate will uphold professional ethics and standards, maintain productivity including weekend and holiday shifts, and engage in ongoing professional development to ensure clinical excellence and evidence-based practice. Key Responsibilities
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to unit safety and infection control protocols. Conduct thorough and individualized patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans. Deliver physical therapy services across inpatient acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings as needed. Fulfill weekend and holiday work requirements based on employment status. Utilize sound clinical judgment to assess all relevant aspects of patient function and document care promptly and accurately. Participate actively as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Provide mentorship opportunities when requested. Comply with organizational policies, procedures, laws, and standards while supporting the mission and values of the healthcare district. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers. Qualifications
1 to 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred. Proficiency in physical therapy modalities, interventions, and procedures is required. Familiarity with standard office equipment and computer software including MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Excellent customer service abilities. Education
Graduation from an accredited professional school or university with a degree in Physical Therapy is required. Licenses and Certifications
Licensed or eligible for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the relevant state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, preferably American Heart Association Healthcare Provider, required upon hire.
All candidates must successfully complete a physical evaluation, drug screening, and background checks prior to employment.
