Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized and dynamic assessment tools to determine eligibility for services under IDEA, Section 504, and state standards > Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans with measurable, functional, and academically relevant goals > Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services across language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication domains > Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress, treatment effectiveness, and session data > Collaborate with special education, general education, and administrative staff to embed language-learning strategies across the school day > Participate actively in IEP/ARD meetings and contribute clinical expertise to placement, progress monitoring, and eligibility decisions > Maintain ASHA-compliant caseloads and ensure adherence to state and federal special education regulations > REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from a CAPCSD-accredited program > Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA > Valid, unrestricted state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist > Proof of immunization status and background check clearance per school district requirements > PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in school-based SLP (2+ years preferred, new grads welcome) > Knowledge of RTI/MTSS frameworks > Experience with AAC and assistive technology > Bilingual fluency (Spanish or other languages highly valued) > Experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and complex communication needs > COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
