*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting our HR functions and ensuring that our workforce is managed effectively. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of human capital management, employment and labor laws, and various HR processes. You will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture while managing employee relations and compliance with regulations.
*Duties*
* Manage talent acquisition processes including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
* Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the company.
* Administer employee evaluations and performance management systems to support employee development.
* Facilitate change management initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
* Maintain compliance with FMLA, OSHA, and other employment laws while providing guidance on HR policies.
* Handle benefits administration and workforce management tasks to optimize employee satisfaction.
* Utilize HRIS systems (such as Workday, ADP, or Oracle HCM) for data entry, payroll processing, and reporting.
* Support affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts to promote diversity and inclusion.
* Manage employee relations issues by addressing conflicts and fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Collaborate on strategic planning initiatives to align HR objectives with business goals.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of HR principles.
* Familiarity with employment & labor law regulations and best practices in change management.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels of the organization.
* Proficiency in using various HR software systems such as Paychex, Dayforce, Ceridian, or SAP SuccessFactors.
* Experience in data collection and analysis for informed decision-making in HR practices.
* Knowledge of conflict management techniques to resolve workplace disputes amicably.
* Administrative experience within an HR setting is preferred, along with familiarity with social media management for employer branding purposes. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $32,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
