Job Summary: Provide essential support to patients, healthcare staff, and physicians by accurately and courteously collecting laboratory specimens and performing related lab duties with professionalism and competence. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure precise patient identification and specimen handling following quality assurance and quality control protocols. Comply with all applicable regulatory agency guidelines to maintain safety and accuracy. Manage workload efficiently, including tracking outstanding specimen reports. Assist with problem resolution and maintain productivity standards. Perform additional duties as assigned to support laboratory operations. Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a phlebotomy training program or relevant post-medical training is necessary. At least one year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
Work Schedule: Full-time, primarily first shift with hours varying between early morning and early evening. This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
