Position Summary
The Fulfillment Associate role is a flexible role within the operations that includes warehouse operations, manufacturing operations, sales support, and gun processing. The individual will work as operator, picker, packer, shipper, trainer, showroom associate, sales support stager, and inventory support associate. Flexibility & versatility are expected in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Scanning incoming and outgoing packages from warehouse and staging area to prepare for the sales associate delivery or pick-up preparation.Completes quality control checks for verification of quantities and items. Organize Orders for OSA pick-up, stagged orders, our internal/external deliveries, show room pick-up. Ensures the correct shipping method is selected. Find and move orders switched from staging to ship. Provide support to the showroom to locate orders. Help customers/OSAs load orders into vehicles/trucks. Completes all documentation (inbound/outbound) daily to ensure the demo warehouse area is neat and organized at all times. Fills in for vacations, leaves of absences, or vacant positions in the warehouse. This includes working as picker, packer, receiver, shipper, inventory, and/or returns associate. Provides updates to the department manager/supervisor they are supporting each day and communicates any issues accordingly. Complies with all Witmer Public Safety Group Policies and Procedures. Performs any other duties or projects assigned by the management team.
Work Schedule
This position is onsite with a work schedule of Monday through Friday of 8am - 5pm with an unpaid one hour lunch.
Requirements
General warehouse fulfillment and material handling skillsStrong customer service skills in both face-to-face and phone-based environmentsAbility to communicate clearly, professionally, and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and leadersProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and TeamsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage workload with minimal supervisionDemonstrated flexibility and ability to shift priorities quicklyAbility to remain calm under pressure and maintain a professional, solution-oriented attitude
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent requiredSome college coursework preferredPrior experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, or customer service strongly preferredExperience in a professional work environment requiredFamiliarity with public safety, uniform, or equipment industries is a plus
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workdayAbility to lift and carry packages up to established safety limitsWork is performed in warehouse, showroom, and office environments
