Warne Plumbing and Heating, LLC, located in Watertown, SD, is currently seeking a Journeyman Plumber to join our company. This is an on-site, in Watertown role. We are committed to providing excellent service in commercial, industrial, and residential plumbing and heating. Candidate should possess mechanical knowledge and skills, the ability to work in multiple environments, and be dependable and organized.
The Journeyman Plumber assembles, installs, or repairs pipes, fittings, or fixtures, of domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, heating, and other piping systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. The Journeyman Plumber is also responsible for delivering high quality work and productivity.
Pay: $20-$30 per hour DOE

Responsibilities may include
Complete all work in accordance with federal, state, and local codesPrepare, fabricate, and install plumbing and piping systemsRead and understand blueprintsRepair and install various pipes including iron, steel, copper, PVC, and cast ironDetermine the proper tools and equipment necessary for job completionOperate power tools and equipmentMaintain tools and equipment in proper working orderOther duties as assigned
Requirements and skills
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program (Preferred)Journeyman Plumber license/certification (Required within 120 days of employment)Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety procedures (Preferred)Strong mechanical skills (Preferred)Ability to learn and operate various power tools and heavy equipment (Required)Able to legally work in the United States (Required)Valid driver's license (Required)Ability to follow instructions (Required)Ability to work independently and as a team (Required)Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting between 75 - 100 pounds, standing for extended periods, climbing, and working in confined spaces among other manual labor duties as assigned (Required)
This is a full-time position with additional hours as needed.
