Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong BFSI domain expertise to lead large-scale technology and business transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing cross-functional teams, stakeholder communication, project governance, risk management, and end-to-end project delivery within banking or financial services environments.
The Project Manager will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, managing budgets, coordinating with business and technology teams, and maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project management activities across BFSI programs and technology initiatives. Manage project planning, execution, monitoring, risk mitigation, and delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. Coordinate with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, vendors, and leadership for successful project execution. Drive Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies based on project requirements. Prepare and manage project plans, RAID logs, status reports, governance dashboards, and executive presentations. Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions. Facilitate requirement gathering sessions, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder reviews. Monitor project milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and resource utilization. Identify project risks, issues, and blockers and proactively implement mitigation strategies. Manage financial tracking including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and resource planning. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security policies, audit requirements, and enterprise governance standards. Collaborate with QA, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and application teams during implementation activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance PMO processes and delivery standards. Support production deployment planning, cutover activities, and post-implementation reviews. Provide leadership updates and executive-level communication on project progress and delivery health. Mentor junior project coordinators, Scrum Masters, and delivery team members where required.
