Description
As part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Car Crafters Collision, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. Our team is dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while making the repair process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our customers. We're currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Body Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders in line with manufacturer and industry standardsCommunicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and requirementsComplete welding, frame/unibody alignment, body panel repairs, and cosmetic workOperate frame machines and other shop equipment safely and efficientlyFollow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections upon completion of workMix chemicals and materials per manufacturer specificationsAdapt to a blueprint-style production model-may not disassemble vehicles personallyWhy Work With Us?

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of collision repair experience requiredI-CAR Certification in body repair and welding preferredOEM certification and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes highly valuedStrong ability to analyze and interpret repair data and measurementsMust have a valid driver's license and be able to operate vehicles legallyDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamHigh attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality workmanshipPositive, dependable, and customer-focused mindsetProficient in the use of standard shop tools and safety procedures
