Assist management with operational oversight, quality improvement, operational flow, performance measurement, and implementation of new practices. Assist in providing guidance to staff, staff scheduling, triage duties, and is a resource to staff. Oversees the coordination of clinical activities for students to ensure they are meeting core curriculum requirements. Assures high-quality radiographs are submitted by technologists to ensure optimal diagnostic information is available to radiologists for accurate and complete patient diagnosis. Demonstrates positive customer service focus by delivering exemplary personal patient contact while executing radiology clinical duties. Acts as a liaison between clinical staff, managers, and Radiologists. Records digital images as directed for radiologist interpretation. Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
Qualifications Education Other Certificate/Diploma Radiography required or Associate's Degree Radiography preferred Licenses and Credentials Radiologic Technologist [MA License] required Registered Technologist [R.T.(ARRT)] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required Experience Radiology Technologist experience with multiple patient populations 2-3 years required and leadership experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Good communication skills. - Ability to effectively evaluate and problem solve. - Ability to work independently. - Ability to guide, teach, and motivate others. - Good business acumen skills.
