Clinical Practice Manager The Clinical Practice Manager (CPM) will provide management and leadership of interdisciplinary patient care services within the Primary Care setting. The CPM will be responsible with the Nurse Manager for the daily operations of the assigned practice group. The CPM will be the first-line supervisor for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants within that practice group. Each CPM will be a member of the Primary Care Clinical Board. As a member of the Clinical Board the CPM will be responsible for assigned clinical leadership duties. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for working with the Primary Care Division and other Divisions within the Medical Center to achieve quality care standards and productivity targets. Lead process improvement activities and work to achieve patient satisfaction goals, access to care standards, and clinical performance targets. Assure that the policies, practices, and services within that group practice are consistent with the mission and vision of the Primary Care Division, the VA Portland Health Care System, the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 20 - VA Northwest Health Network, and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Central Office. Accountable to all other members of the Primary Care Clinical Board including the Clinical Director, Administrative Director and the Associate Chief Nurse executive of the Primary Care Division. Practices within the Primary Care Division, providing leadership and guidance across the Division.
