As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands-on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis. Every day, you will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality.
Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself. Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
Required
High School Graduate general studies, upon hire and A minimum of twelve (12) months education in a JRCERT accredited school of radiology, upon hire Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 30 days of hire
