Surgery Physician Opportunity We are seeking a qualified Surgery Physician to join our team on a temporary basis. The position requires availability for 1 to 8 consecutive days per month, with a focus on General Surgery. The shift involves 24-hour call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, with an emphasis on managing patient calls, typically 0-10 calls per day. Job Details
Start Date: July 1, 2026 Contract Duration: 6 months Shift: Call coverage, 8 days per month, 24-hour shifts Work Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM, 8 days per month Patients per Day: 0-10 calls, generally fewer EMR System: Cerner Hospital Bed Size: 70 beds Procedures: EGD and Colonoscopy preferred but not required Requirements:
Board Certification in General Surgery Valid State Medical License DEA certification BLS and ACLS certifications
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days Licensing: Willing to license (IMLC or WV temp license preferred) Travel: Full travel paid; preferred for candidates able to drive in if shifts are sporadic
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $2,028.00 Per 24-Hour Call Rate: $2,600.00 Call Back Rate: $450.00 All-inclusive: No Holidays: 1.2x pay for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas (from 00:00 to 23:59)
