Opportunities are currently available in general anesthesiology. Position in the subspecialties of cardiovascular, obstetric, pediatric anesthesiology, critical care medicine, pain management, and goal-oriented research occasionally occur. Consideration for appointment in these roles would be given to candidates with demonstrated training and/or experience in the field. Applicants must have or be able to obtain a Texas medical license prior to employment and be BC/BE with the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). Candidates are appointed as Assistant Instructor if they do not have board certification at hire; continued employment will be contingent upon receipt of ABA certification within two (2) years of initial hire date.
