Key Responsibilities:
Accurately fill prescriptions issued by providers in compliance with all State and Federal Laws. Provide medication counseling to patients. Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas and necessary ingredients. Participate in Medication Therapy Management, reviewing patients' medications and making clinical recommendations to providers. Supervise pharmacy technicians. Operate cash register, handle payments, and balance registers. Maintain knowledge of the 340B program, sliding fee scale, and referral prescriptions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD. Active Pharmacist License. CPR Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment). Strong customer service orientation, reliability, ethical standards, and effective communication skills. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently independently or as part of a team. Additional Information: Point-of-care testing and immunizations are NOT part of this role.
