Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions with a focus on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges. Engage in collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate cohesive care plans. Educate patients and their families to bolster progress beyond clinical sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a smooth continuum of care throughout treatment. Ensure timely and precise documentation that aligns with state, federal, and organizational protocols. Stay abreast of advancements in the field through continuing education and professional collaboration. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification has not yet been achieved. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of beginning employment. Skills
