Orthodent Laboratory Lab Tech Orthodent Laboratory (ODL), part of the Specialty Appliances family, is a digital orthodontics and dental lab that offers doctors a full range of traditional appliances and digital solutions, providing orthodontists with a pathway to growth and clinical excellence. We are driven by quality and guided by family. Our Lab Techs hand-craft top-quality dental appliances for orthodontists and dentists, meeting the unique needs of their patients. Ideal candidates for these positions will possess a minimum of 2 years of dental lab experience (preferably in orthodontics), excellent hand-eye coordination, and attention to minute details, including the ability to recognize differences in hue and form. Wire-bending experience, a plus. Crafting these appliances involves a blend of technical and artistic mastery, which takes time and commitment to learn. However, we provide comprehensive training to achieve proficiency and also have a CDT training program available. Responsibilities include:
Crafting top-quality dental appliances to meet orthodontists' and dentists' patients' needs. Collaborating with dental professionals to produce industry-leading quality appliances that inspire confidence in patients. Utilizing advanced processes and materials, such as metal, wire bending, and fabrication of specialized acrylics and metal alloys. Ensuring each appliance is tailored uniquely to the individual patient, with meticulous attention to detail.
Work Schedule: 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm What We'll Love About You:
