Title: MRI Technologist Location: Newark, NY Duration: Contract Assignment Schedule: Monday - Friday Shift Timing: 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM Position Overview: "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic MRI procedures across a wide range of patient populations. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment. Primary Responsibilities:
Perform MRI examinations on adult and pediatric patients Operate MRI equipment and PACS systems Position patients and ensure image quality and diagnostic accuracy Prepare and administer contrast media as required Start peripheral IVs for contrast studies Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures Required Qualifications:
Active New York State License required ARRT(R) Certification required MRI Certification required BLS Certification required Experience performing a wide range of MRI studies Strong knowledge of MRI safety procedures and contrast administration Experience with PACS systems Excellent communication and patient care skills Clinical Experience Preferred:
Adult Acute Care Adult ICU Adult Outpatient Emergency/Trauma Pediatric Acute Care Pediatric Outpatient MRI Procedures Include:
Brain, Head, Neck, Spine, Chest, Abdomen, and Pelvis Imaging MRA and MRV Studies Musculoskeletal Imaging Orthopedic and Trauma Imaging Contrast and Non-Contrast Studies Additional Information:
No Call Required No Weekends No Holidays Must have New York State License before start date
