Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Radiologic Technologist, you will be a critical member of our Imaging Services team, responsible for performing a comprehensive range of general, neuro, and interventional radiography procedures across diverse patient settings.
Every day you will meticulously perform X-rays, fluorscopies, portables, and surgical imaging (OR/Litho) procedures, meticulously following two-patient identification and gel in/out protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will be a High School Graduate with at least six months of radiology experience and completion of an approved American College of Radiology Radiologic Technologist program.
Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others. Displays competency performing procedures; follows every step for taking an x-ray (two patient identifier, gel in/gel out, etc). Always produces high quality films. Accurately marks radiographs with R's and L's, supine and upright (if appropriate); and assures that patient information is clearly visible. Competent in one or more areas of Diagnostic Radiology (fluoro, portables, OR, Litho, ED/Trauma) Understands the interrelation and operates the various computer systems such as RCO, Radnet, PACS and other hospital systems. High School Graduate/GED Medical Radiographer: AZ Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, or Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry Basic Life Support - CPR
