Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and craft individualized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional milestones Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage research-driven methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses for a holistic approach to patient care Educate Patients and Families: Equip patients and their families with knowledge regarding therapy techniques for continued progress at home Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatments as necessary to keep patients on their healing path Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Continuing education or further certifications are encouraged and supported Certifications
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory Required Skills
A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to guiding them towards their maximum level of independence Effective and compassionate communication with patients and team members alike Creative thinking to adapt strategies for diverse patient needs Confidence in working both autonomously and as part of a closely-knit interdisciplinary team What We Offer
