Create individualized treatment plans that target specific short- and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing challenges. Deliver focused speech therapy interventions to enhance areas such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities. Work in close partnership with other healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to foster comprehensive care approaches. Empower patients and families by providing educational resources that encourage progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of therapy throughout the recovery process. Maintain precise, timely documentation in alignment with regulatory guidelines at every level. Commit to ongoing professional development by staying informed of the latest advancements in speech-language pathology. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. A completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills
