Provide high-quality care to ICU patients, including those with multisystem organ dysfunction. Manage ventilated patients and perform arterial line management. Administer medications and blood products as required. Perform procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias effectively. Assist in chest tube insertion and removal, as well as manage central lines. Follow infection control protocols and isolation precautions. Participate in interdisciplinary support and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred. BLS and ACLS certification required. Additional certifications such as CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC are preferred. Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred. Previous experience in a Trauma Level II facility and LTAC preferred.
