Facilitating surgical operations by preparing and organizing the operating room efficiently Ensuring sterile environments and strictly following infection control protocols Providing instruments and necessary supplies to surgeons and assistants Preparing and managing surgical devices before, during, and after each procedure Overseeing supplies to confirm readiness for every operation Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical colleagues for optimal patient care Maintaining precise surgical counts and documentation Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program High school diploma or its equivalent necessary Certifications Needed:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential needed BLS certification (or ability to secure within 90 days of employment) Key Skills and Attributes:
