Key Responsibilities
Conduct evaluations for patients across diverse age groups using both standardized tests and personal observational methods. Craft customized treatment plans addressing immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Engage in one-on-one speech therapy sessions targeting language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals-like physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and family members-to develop comprehensive care strategies. Provide educational resources for patients and families to support their progress in-between therapy sessions. Assist in conducting occasional speech therapy evaluations for inpatients, ensuring a seamless continuum of care. Maintain precise and timely documentation consistent with local, state, and organizational regulations. Continuously enhance your professional skills through ongoing education and collaboration with peers in the field. Education Required
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. A completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not yet obtained ASHA certification. Necessary Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification should be achieved within 30 days of employment. Skills Needed

Exceptional communication abilities with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.
