Facilitating surgical procedures by preparing and organizing all necessary elements within the operating room Upholding sterile environments and strictly adhering to infection control practices Expertly handing instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants during operations Preparing and maintaining surgical equipment throughout all phases of procedures Monitoring supply levels to ensure operational readiness for every surgical event Collaborating closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care Keeping precise counts and comprehensive documentation of surgical items used Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology training program High school diploma or GED is mandatory Essential Certifications:
Possession of a current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential BLS certification required (or ability to achieve it within 90 days post-hire) Essential Skills and Attributes:
