Deliver Pre-Service Training for new DCS employees, including:
Child welfare fundamentals Program-specific topics (CPS, Foster Care, Juvenile Justice) Trauma-informed case management DCS Practice Model & Practice Wheel (Engagement, Teaming, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Tracking & Adjusting) Self-care and Motivational Interviewing
Facilitate Mentor Certification Programs Proctor Pre-Service assessments and support evaluation activities Participate in Case Panel Presentations Support Simulation Lab activities (location dependent) Provide web-based technical assistance for virtual training Conduct trainings via Microsoft Teams and other digital platforms Collaborate with training teams and leadership to ensure high-quality, consistent training delivery Travel required within a 75-mile radius (no overnight travel)
Minimum Qualifications
1+ year of direct child welfare field experience (case management, investigations, foster care, juvenile justice) 1+ year of training delivery, adult education, or staff development experience Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and virtual training tools Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Bachelor’s degree
