Job Description Qualifications:
Graduate of a school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama.
Language/ Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally; Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation.
Skills:
Renders direct and indirect patient care in support of medical care and in accordance with the established standards of care, as well as policies and procedures of Southeast Health; Contributes to nursing assessment; Contributes to Pre-Surgical evaluation and education of patients prior to surgery or procedures requiring anesthesia; Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care; Welcomes new employees, participates in orientation, and serves as a role model in a positive effort to orient and develop nursing staff members.
