Conducts and implements appropriate and effective therapy evaluative services and/or therapy interventions based on students' needs. Meets productivity; ensures all students on his/her caseload receive services according to the frequency and duration of their IEPs. Collaborates with education staff to facilitate incorporating students' therapy goals into classroom activities. Participates in students' staffing meetings, IEP team meetings, classroom team meetings, campus-wide meetings, and other meetings as assigned.
Identifies and pursues appropriate equipment based on students' needs. Reports accountability data according to UCP guidelines.
Completes and submits accurate documentation. Supervises speech language pathology assistants, speech therapists, speech language pathology clinical fellows. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Training:
Minimum of master's degree in speech therapy field Active speech language pathologist license from the State of Florida Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech/Language Hearing Association (or obtained within 1 year of at the agency) Preferred Experience:
One (1) year experience preferred with the pediatric developmentally challenged population in a multidisciplinary setting New graduates will be considered
