Compensation: Starts at $36.38/hour, based on experience, education, and internal equity. Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, with weekend and holiday rotations as needed. Provide on-shift leadership and clinical guidance to nursing staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care. Coordinate and oversee daily unit operations, including patient assignments, admissions, and discharges. Promote teamwork and communication across interdisciplinary teams to support quality outcomes. Serve as a resource and mentor to nurses, fostering professional growth and confidence. Support patient care delivery through direct clinical involvement and decision-making when needed. Monitor patient progress and collaborate with providers to address changes in condition. Partner with the Clinical Operations Manager and House Supervisor to ensure compliance with policies and standards. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred). Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or compact state). Minimum of two (2) years of inpatient nursing experience with demonstrated leadership ability. BLS required at hire; ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), and NIHSS required within one year of hire. Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Physical & Work Environment
Ability to lift, position, or transfer patients up to 50 lbs; frequent standing, walking, or bending required. Exposure to blood-borne pathogens, chemicals, and emergency situations. Must demonstrate physical and emotional resilience to lead effectively in high-pressure clinical environments. Schedule flexibility to include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
