Speech Language Pathologist I The Speech Language Pathologist I provides evaluation and treatment of the patient within the parameters of legal and professional guidelines, and hospital and departmental policies and procedures. This position evaluates and implements a plan of care for the provision of comprehensive speech and language services for individuals exhibiting dysfunction in the areas of speech and/or language. With 12 ministries and access points across Indiana and Illinois, Franciscan Health is one of the largest Catholic health care systems in the Midwest. Evaluate patient function with consideration of age-appropriate needs. Develop a treatment plan. Perform treatment techniques. Effective participation in team process. Integrate performance improvement process in daily assignments. Implement teaching strategies. Participate to provide a safe, comfortable, organized and clean department.
Qualifications:
Required Master's Degree Speech None Speech Therapy Required 1 year Speech Therapy Preferred Speech Pathologist (SPE) - State Licensing Board Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - American Heart Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) - ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association)
