Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with the daily operations of the Nursing Department Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident care and staff performance Participate in facility surveys and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies Address staff concerns and grievances, escalating issues to the Director of Nursing as appropriate Promote a collaborative, team-focused work environment
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing home, rehabilitation center, or hospital setting Prior Unit Manager or supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Compassion, patience, and understanding of resident needs Computer literacy required, including Microsoft programs Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
