Responsible for coordinating daily caseload and staff assignments, equipment maintenance and documentation / implementation of quality assurance program.
Graduate of AMA approved two (2) year program in Radiologic Technology. Minimum five (5) years as staff Technologist Supervisory experience - Preferred Knowledge of CT/Special Procedures - Preferred Current New York State license in Radiologic Technology Certification from the American Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Knowledge of modern hospital administration, principles and practices.
Knowledge of practices and procedures including accounting, finance, purchasing, personnel, facilities, office procedures and records and specific related supporting services within the department.
Thorough knowledge of modern patient care and management principles as applied to radiologic technology.
Knowledge of principles, and procedures involved in the operation of radiologic equipment.
Ability to analyze operational data, employ approved management techniques and obtain maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
Ability to effectively coordinate various division functions and activities for maximum operation and efficiency.
Ability to direct, instruct, and advise division supervisors in the approved methods, procedures and practices employed in effective administration.
Ability to receive and effectively react to day-to-day problems presented by the division supervisors and others.
Ability to interpret the established policies into operational procedures and to execute hospital programs.
Ability to work effectively and smoothly with radiologist and other members of the medical staff as required.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the employees and the public.
