Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Assignment Details: - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 72 Hours Biweekly
Requirements: - GED or High School diploma - Certification as COA, COT, or COMT by JCAHPO - Minimum 1 year of experience - Preferred: Vocational or technical training in an accredited program
Roles & Responsibilities: - Escort patients to and from exam rooms. - Take a complete patient history focusing on eye symptoms and review allergies and medications. - Perform visual acuity tests and measure intraocular pressure. - Administer eye drops and perform preliminary eye function testing. - Manage patient flow and equipment maintenance. - Participate in ongoing training and continuing education.
Compliance / Notes: - Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. - Candidates must be separated from the health system for 6 months before returning. - Parking may cost up to $43/day. Public transportation is available.
