LPN-Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements:
Currently holds an active LPN license to work in Ohio CPR Certified (BLS or ALS accepted) Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility Strong patient assessment skills Ability to communicate effectively Demonstrated clinical competency Reliable Transportation to worksite location
Flagstar LPNs are expected to carry out the following tasks:
Instruct patients and their families in proper treatment. Help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health. Assess and record symptoms and/or reactions and progress in patients. Administer patient medications as prescribed by the treating physician. Assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician's established plan of treatment.
